Migrating whales pass off the coast at Torndirrup National Park, where steep cliffs give way to dramatic rock formations. Visited the National Anzak Center and military displays on top the hill.

Esperance is a town on the south coast of Western Australia. Its beaches include calm Blue Haven, and West Beach, with its surf breaks. Best known for the place where Skylab crashed. Visited the museum which was quite interesting.

It’s known for its fishing industry and seafood. Axel Stenross Maritime Museum details historic seafaring, with old vessels and a blacksmith’s shop. Nearby, mostly surrounded by water, rugged Lincoln National Park is home to rare flora and fauna. At the edge of the city, Winter Hill Lookout has views of Port Lincoln, plus surrounding islands and coves.

The first day we took the train to a sub town visiting a train museum. The second day we visited the main city including the art museum.
Port Arthur ‐ Dec 27, 2018

Sitting on the Tasman Peninsula, it was a 19th-century penal settlement and is now an open-air museum. Ruins include the huge penitentiary and the remaining shell of the Convict Church, which was built by inmates. Solitary confinement cells in the Separate Prison building were used to inflict mental punishment in place of floggings.
