In the morning we took the SNCF’s TGV high-speed train to Lyon, France. Arriving we transferred to VIKING DELLING Veranda Suite - 328. We then took a walk into town before dinner. On Wed morn we walked to the Funicular to the top of Fourvière Hill for amazing views of the city and tour La Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière. Met a Viking Rep at the Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opera Hotel and after settling in visited the Opera down the street and then walked down to the Seine to the island in the middle of the river to tour Sainte-Chapelle. Afterward we returned to our hotel. On Sunday morning we caught a taxi to visited the Cluny Museum - National Museum of the Middle Ages. was a cross between a burlesque show and the cirque du soleil. On Monday we walked to the Louve before walking through the Tuileries Garden to the Place de la Concorde with the Egyptian obelisk. We headed back to the hotel when it started to rain. When out for dinner, then back to hotel to pack.
